We, like most people, have always dreamed of building our own home from the ground up. Five years ago God spoke the words of 2 Samuel 7:10-11 to me, and we stood on those words. Two years later we found our beautiful piece of property in the Texas Hill Country; one step closer to building! Soon after that I tried, in my own ways, to build a house to no avail. It's wasn't until I rested in God's plan, trusted Him, and followed Him every step of the way that it all came together. And I couldn't have written a better story! From the very beginning of the process God has been faithful to provide. Just like He told the widow in 1 Kings 17:14, "The flour and the oil will not run out..." We have trusted Him every step and He has not let us down.
