On screen it looks so simple, but it wasn't! Before we could even see the work begin we went through about 6 months of working every detail out: the budget, deciding to build a metal home, from finding the plan, to deciding on the material supplier, finding all the different subcontractors, the building erector and the list goes on...

    I found the plan at 3am one morning when I couldn't sleep; I was scouring Pinterest and other sites trying to find just what we had in mind. Once we found the plan online and worked with the architect to make our desired changes, I spent three months on the phone all day calling around to different subcontractors and builders. Some builders did it all- foundation to finish out, but we decided to do everything ourselves: to save money and because we wanted to make every decision about every little detail.

    It hasn't been easy! We have gone through many challenges already, but it will be worth it when we're living in our beautiful work of heart!
