     Now that the exterior is done, spray foam insulation is next. Spray foam insulation is best for a metal home: especially in HOT Texas summers- it can REALLY save energy! Before we can spray foam we have to run all of the exterior water and electrical lines for anything on the outside of the house: hosebibs, lights, plugs, etc.

Trying to decide where to place all of these things is so hard! The easiest way is to envision yourself living there and imagining where you would need a plug, or where you would need a water hose, and for us, we want a TV on the big porch, so you have to decide where you want the TV. Also, all of the exterior light fixtures: do you want them above all the doors and windows? Or just accent light fixtures?

So many things to decide!
